7. Billy Walker (January 14, – May 21, ) was an American country-music singer and guitarist, nicknamed "The Tall Texan." Walker was born in Ralls, Texas, in , and became active in the Dallas music scene in the late s. After a brief stint with Capitol Records, he signed with Columbia Records in at the same time as Ray Price.

8. I love country music but I had never heard of Billy Walker until I had Sirius installed in my car. His rendition of "Funny How Time Slips Away" is the best - though the version they play on Sirius is better than the one on his 20 Greatest Hits - apparently it has been remixed on 20 Greatest Hits/5(62).
